PAINTING // 2016 - 2017
The motivation behind this series was to create contemplative images and to find beauty in ordinary instances of my life; Places that wouldn’t be considered beautiful for another person. The challenge for me was to create images that would strike an inner cord with the viewer; to create a strange sensation of familiarity in the works while alluding to themes of presence, loneliness, and alienation.

La motivación detrás de esta serie era la de crear imágenes contemplativas y encontrar la belleza en los instantes ordinarios de mi vida; Lugares que otros no considerarían bello. El reto para mí era el de crear imágenes con un sentido de familiaridad al ser observadas por el espectador, trabajos que aluden a la presencia, a la soledad y alienación.
